Blister/ burn?
It's possible, I have a metal run and metal hanging feeders I always wonder about... just so strange she's the only one whi has them. I just got her this spring never had her for a winter before. And we had the run this spring and summer, but I didn't have the hanging feeders.- Quackpack22

Blister/ burn?
Hi everyone ! I have an issue, my Pekin hen recently developed this blister like lump on her bill I separated her because people told me it was fowl pox but I'm not convinced. It's winter here and was told it was spread by mosquitos. She is very vocal as usual and eating and drinking normally...- Quackpack22

UPDATE :::: Its been a while since I have updated but he is walking on the leg now !!! Basically normal ! I'm so thankful!! Has a tiny limp but hes healing up after 3 weeks now !!- Quackpack22

I do not have clear iodine, It feels like a scab to me, but this is my first time with ducks so I'm just trying my best, so should I not be feeding my males any later feed ?- Quackpack22

I didnt think he did, I've never really looked under his feet before ..... so idk if these are new or not sadly but it does look like something happened..... I'm not sure If its bumble foot or not it hasn't developed a puss ball or anything still- Quackpack22

UPDATE: so he still isn't putting weight on the leg, eating and drinking still acting normal other theb walking around. I did give him sliced romaine and cucumber yesterday with some b complex in it. Today I did notice some green poop.... I'm scared about that but hoping it's just from the...- Quackpack22

Good to know thank you. And tonight I filled my tun for my duck and he still stands on one leg, he moved his webbing a little like he was going to swim with the injured leg but he only stood there as the injured leg hust floated pretty much. He has stretched it out a couple times with his wing...- Quackpack22

Hes under a year old, got him mid summer, I feed purina layer pellets and some cracked corn, sometimes I cut fresh romaine lettuce for them in a bowl of water as well. I do have b complex, and brewers yeast, I've been told it also has good benefits. Not to be rude towards anyone here but I'm...- Quackpack22

Hes under a year.. got him in mid summer, he is inna 12x12 barn with 2 other drakes and 3 females. He is inside right now because I'm in Michigan and we are having single digit and negative temps and he can not sit on or tuck his leg up to keep warm plus i wanted to limit his mobility and allow...- Quackpack22

Ok, I will try that first because there is no sign of injury really.... mine are in a enclosed 12x12 barn and are let out in a run when weather is nice. Duck severe limp help!
I have a male pekin duck which just this morning I went out and noticed he is limping severely.... not wanting to put weight on his leg.... could this just be a sprain??? I picked him up and felt the leg no sign of pain...but joint felt warmer then rest of leg.... should I want a few days and...- Quackpack22

Duck coughing! Help !
It won't let me upload the video keeps saying too large its 29 seconds I trimmed it to 12 still too large, but the house they have can be locked, I just haven't been locking it, no moisure has been in tbere but I'll give it a good clean and maybe try the shavings like when they were babies...- Quackpack22
