Does one in my flock have EYP?

Does one in my flock have EYP? About a week ago, I discovered the remains a soft-shelled egg— one thing I noticed regularly, last year, when we had a hen with this problem. (She is deceased). I have also been observing droppings of an odd color, the guanine (white part of the droppings) seems...

Are game birds okay for a mixed flock?

We We Have got a California white, two barred rocks, a brown leghorn, a black sexlink, a Wyandotte, a golden comet, and two aruacanas. They’re all hens. What is wrong with my hen?

I walked into the coop this morning, to find that my two-year old brown leghorn hen seemed ill. She is unable to poop. When she tries to, she will make a wheezing sound and a string of clear foam will come out. This has been nonstop all day. She will walk a few feet and then strain again. Her...
