I think my hen is sabotaging her eggs

Yup! There's nice fluffy straw for her, and when she first started laying outside the box, I moved one of the eggs into the box to help her figure it out.

I think my hen is sabotaging her eggs

Hello! I have a year old hy-line hen who, until recently, was a great layer. She laid in the box and laid an egg every day. She's wonderful. However, for the past week or so, she's been laying outside the box. Still, the eggs were fine, just in a weird place, so I gathered them up. Yesterday...

Max is a ten month old hen who seems a bit off lately. She's not eating much, spends most of the day napping under a bench, and isn't laying. I took her to a vet, who gave her an antibiotic and an appetite stimulant, but she seems less and less interested in leaving the coop or doing much of...

Flock has mycoplasma, down to one chicken

Hello! I got three pullets from a breeder this spring, and then added a rooster a few weeks later. Over the summer, all but one hen died. I took each of them to vet, but ultimately, the vet tested and found they had a mycoplasma infection, and had likely gotten it from the breeder’s flock. I...
