getting the hang of it
we have 6 hens since July, no idea when they were hatched, slowly they have started to lay and this morning we had 5 eggs!! im so excited for the last couple of weeks we have had 3-4 eggs a day but it looks as though no.5 has got onto the laying bandwagon
ours lay at different times each day, however each one lays in the same spot each time - they seem to have their favourite laying spots and dont deviate from that
i feel your pain - we went for months with people making fun of us as we had no eggs yet - we are getting 3-4 a day now and i think we have had the last laugh
hope they will lay for you soon!
ask friends if they are willing to buy any. Im getting 3-4 a day at the moment and yesterday had a dozen in the fridge, I asked a friend if she wanted any and told her they were a bargain as i charged a lower price than the shops. she wants more now lol, im hoping to sell any extras i dont use...

Backyard Buddies - my birthday is in november and my mum bought me a years ancestry.com membership and some credits for the scotlands people site I use
Hennysmum - Most of my family originated in the UK and scotland rather than Ireland which has been much easier in finding the info, the UK...
