    Prepayment for eggs

    Talking with a local breeder who has some fertile lavender Orphingron eggs. I inquired about picking up this weekend (2) and she is asking for prepayment so that "she does not hold them and they go bad" am I missing something, wont they either hatch or not hatch as long as they're being properly...

    Greetings from south CA

    Recently bought 5 acres we are converting to a mini ranch/homestead and have just started with chickens! Currently all under 3 months old we have 2 RIRs, 3 silkies, 1 Buff Orphington, 2 easter eggers, 1 cuckoo maran and 2 olive eggers.

    Help picking out breeds to bring in!

    Only one I already have is a couple of Ameruacana which I realize are probably actually easter eggers. (This is the list of what they are getting in)
