    Injury from a hawk attack

    I’ve always used blue kote and liquid bandage. Keep her hydrated (chik’n aid is good) and try to get her to eat (maybe she will eat some scrambled eggs?).

    Blue kote! Use it for treatment it will stain the area to prevent anyone bothering him and it works magic in healing.

    Chicken bullying another - help!

    I get the whole “rule of thumb” someone made up but I have that exact coop and I had 3 barred rocks and 2 barn mix EE in mine with no space issues. During winter they all pile into the nesting box together. I’ve actually noticed the different breeds click up which I think is her issue.
