Just a work-a-holic of sorts that loves animals. I really enjoy our birds and am glad we decided to raise chickens for eggs and meat. It’s a full time job but the reward is immeasurable. It’s fun, tiring, emotionally draining at times but overall well worth the physical and mental investment. I know that our birds, whether hen or rooster or goose or a bird raised for meat, will have a great life of freedom, love and security while they are with us. That means everything to me.
