    I just got back from the permit office and I was told I do not need a permit so long as I follow the set back rules in the UDO. Anyone interested in some organic feed? I could only find it in 50 lb bags and that's twice what I need. Bag was $28. I'll split it with you.

    Has anyone built a coop yet? I was building one in my driveway and a car that said "Mchenry county Planning and Development" drove by. Being kind of worried i called the planning dept and the lady said i need a permit to build a coop and run. Anyone else with a similar issue?

    I see that the UDO says "draft". So that means that is not the law of the land yet, right? Or am I missing something?

    Hi there, I'm new to the site and my wife wants to have chickens. We live in wonder lake (unincorporated) and I don't know if we can. I looked all over and I see the info in the UDO, but does that apply to us?
