From all that I've read about DE I tend to think of it as more of a preventive than an actual wormer to clear out an infestation. Others swear by the pumpkin seeds mixed with buttermilk method.
I used valbazen, which is marketed as a cattle & sheep wormer. Takes care of just about every type...
