I have no problems with Barnies. I feed them as I would any chicken. A chicken pellet with some cracked corn and I free range them during the day. Will try and post some photos of the eggs and chickens.

I breed Barnevelders in 3 colours, have Blue Orpingtons with Black due to hatch on the weekend as well as Light Barred Plymoth Rocks due the same time...
I have 12 hens and get 10-12 eggs per day.They lay beautiful med-dark eggs. They ease off laying in the colder months though.
They mature the same as most other breeds.
