dirty embdens happy now
wow after -27's winter weather the geese n chickens are happy 40's n 50's we put water in the pool the geese went nut's.. and there clean now.. they were getting dirty.. we have no snow in North Dakota.. -

Where to keep geese overnight?
my embdens only argue with me when i open the door or they want to bite the chickens. but they are so loud when i give em food in morning. i have a 2 foot fence area for chickens to get away in the total fenced 100' x 150' area. i just lifted one end about 8 inches and chickens just duck n get... -

my mean geese
evry morning my 2 embdens just chase the 5 chickens around for 3-4 minutes. we have an area that the chickens can go under a fenced in area, but they have to get there.. i feed them in there and the geese get so vocal if ya do them first. it is kinda funny when they spread there wings and run... -

never had a problem. sometimes chicks are few weeks old before geese and they peck a little but few weeks and the geese dont let 'em -

we have only had emblem's and always friendly if they know you.. few yrs ago my wife didnt pay 'tention to them and they chased her .. now she pets them every day. my daughter and granddaughter were out and they liked them also.. i think most geese will know how you feel -

thats the one thing with geese and especially embden's are time consuming to pluck.. but so worth it..
