    I just heard back from the breeder. Apparently the australorp can be a easter egger. The eggs just marked wrong. And she also said that the buff is probably from the buffs she has because somewhere along the line some of her buffs got featered legs. Maybe a easter egger got into the buff enclosure.

    Well her ad said potch koekoek, easter eggers, buff orpington, light sussex, black austrolorp and golden laced wyandottes. No marans or any feathered leg breed other than maybe easter eggers as far as I know. But apparently all her breeds are separated.

    We hatched 5 buff orpington chicks from another breeder last month and they looked exactly like this only they didn't have the feather legs

    I Quickly did a search and it looks like the splash chick is either a grey and yellow colour or black and yellow/white like the black Australorp chicks. My chick is a solid yellow with only a few black marks

    No.They are mostly yellow with only small black spots. The chick is sleeping in the brooder at the moment so it's hard to get a picture but I found a foto that is similar to the markings they have.     I dont think so the chick is yellow with three random black splashes. One on the back of the head and two on it's back.

    Acording to her all the breeds are separate. But I have also thought that maybe she mislabled the eggs. I just wanted a second opinion before I tell her.
