Palletts and Habitat for Humanity ReStore have been a life saver for me also. Love your lil coop, I have issues with animals w/o shelter, drives me crazy. lol
Love the story, and so sorry for lil mama hens babes.. been there. Kudos to you for taking over as chicken parent!! Love the flock, enjoy their nice little presents they will leave for all your love and TLC!!!!
. Oh ok cool... Either way they are cute and was cheap and I couldn't let the goofy man behind me have them to use as snake bait... Now to build a new run an home :)
My friend says no due to the small lil tail feathers showing, said they had none. But im not so sure on her info as she has no chickens just google..lol But They DO have lil tail feathers on some and not all if this info helps.
Went to an auction and someone was selling chicks. These were sold as aracauna 5 day old strait run. There are 20, and they went for $1.25 a head. I have so many chickens but none of these, so I can only take their word for it. Does anyone know how to tell by sight??? Plz n thnx!!!
I buy my feed by the barrel and keep 4 barrels full at a time. But I like you have been wondering the same thing. So my plan is to plant half an acre of corn and other items I can store an feed thru next year and see how it goes. But if you dont have the space to plant feed, I have no solution.
