    Eggshell abnormality

    I have the same thing with my black marans. Is it a marans thing? She is about 3-4 years old. Anyone know what this is? Calcium deposits are usually adhered & a part of the egg. These things will pop right off with a scrape. Eggs seem fine otherwise. Could this be it? She seems completely fine...

    Daddy roo is SLW, Mama is BCM/RIR Does the sex link work this way too? There is another black chick w/ rose comb that is almost certainly a roo. Yellow/Brown above is feathering out beautifully, w/ thin bars - but thinking a pullet.

    I had a SLW Roo on a BCM/RIR mix. This is one of five chicks hatched out on 4/13. Another that looks just like it, but w/ Wyandotte rose comb, is (I'm nearly certain) a Roo. Not sure about this one though...What do y'all think? I'll post pics of the other when I can get a good shot. THX!
