    You would think but this was his first winter. We hatched them all from eggs. He was the biggest from the beginning.

    Well then likely he will become garden compost. But he gets a second chance. He seems to be walking better now. We shall see. I'll be fine, but the kids will end up learning an important life lesson if Mads Chickelson does that again.

    That's my instinct as well. I'm just worried about his limp. We shall see. If he can't control his emotions though, it won't matter because I'm going to bury him under my garden. I'm hoping he gets better and we can train him better though.

    Thank you. Materials are so expensive and so are larger prefabbed coops. Even Rubbermaid sheds have gone parabolic. I'm just going to start buying wood every payday like they are stocks, and build a large one. I have a feeling 10 chickens would just pile into the small white coop. :lol:

    Thank you. I meet all those requirements for what I have, thanks solely to this forum. The question is can I use multiple coops or do I build one large one, which is not really affordable right now thanks to the price of materials. If multiple coops, will they segregate into the multiple coops...

    I miscalculated the power of Oklahoma wind. They both got picked up and turned upside down and landed on the PVC half-shell I built to keep the hawks away. Birds made it no injury which is amazing since it happened in the middle of the night.
