Wonky lookin pullet with a Mohawk?

Tractor Supply. I think they were in a bin labeled Assorted Pullets? I bought too many chickens in a short period of time and got the purchases confused. I know all my breed-specific buys because there weren’t many, but on clearance days, I was hitting the EEs, Americanas and Assorted vines...

Wonky lookin pullet with a Mohawk?

I have two with the weird feathering on their heads - it’s getting a little more pronounced but it’s still not like pictures of Polish I see on the internet. Does anyone have pics of what this might look like when it’s grown? Thanks!

Guessing cockerel but hands down weirdest lookin bird in the barn

it would be nice if I was wrong, but I’m guessing this is a cockerel EE or Americana. 8 weeks ish. Pretty upset in the pictures because it definitely isn’t very tame or social. Thanks for any input!

    Isa Brown? And Pullet?

Sold as a Buff Orpington, which I’m new to chickens but I’m pretty sure it’s NOT a BO. Born end of July, coming up on 10 weeks. I’m hoping you say pullet I have another I will show next time if I can get it to hold still.

    8ish wk old EE/Americana chick - cockerel?

Purchased a bunch of chicks on 8/1 or 8/2 from TSC - they were “assorted” and had mixed several tubs together. I think this one is a cockerel EE or Americana but maybe it’s a pullet? Thanks for any help.

I like to learn what I can BEFORE starting an adventure, and usually I hang out in forums and learn from the questions of other people. We will be starting with ducks, but because of vacations and existing crazy scheduling, we...

    Newbie needing help

Thanks guys :) I may start with a small group in the spring and try the pond, but if they refuse to come back to the barn or all disappear (owls are a pretty serious deal here too), I’ll start again and keep a kiddie pool by the barn.

    Newbie needing help

Hello everyone :) First post here though I’ve read plenty a few months ago when I was kicking around the idea of adding chickens, and again recently pertaining to ducks. I’ve been able to find tons of information on owning ducks but not quite what I’m looking for. We have a 2.5 acre pond that...
