I agree, at four months if they were cockerels there would be way more comb development. Beautiful pullets!

My guess would be a light Brahma for the first, and I believe your right about the splash maran.

Nope.

It looks like normal paying behavior, but to me she looks overheated on top of that. The way her mouth is open and her wings spread wide. I live in California, so my birds do that all day for three months straight.

Or a mix.
