I have Orpingtons (mix buff/Lavender) I have 1 I know is a roo (he is getting shiny green tail feathers and crows) they are 12 weeks old. The other one i'm not sure of.. I thought he was a roo but not although his feet are larger then the others that I believe to be hens "his" tail looks...
I do provide grit but I have never seen her eat it (doesn't mean that she doesn't just haven't witnessed it) her crop fully empties each day. I did offer her some coconut oil last week, I will do that again daily. And will "force" feed some extra water. Thanks for replying ☺️
For the past few weeks my silkie chick (7wks old) vent keeps prolapsing. Seems to happen about 50-75% of the time when she tries to poop. I spray it with some antimicrobial poultry care and sometimes a bit of olive oil and it slides back in but it continues to happen. Any ideas why or what else...
