CL is absolutely a zoonotic. Any puss drained from ANY abcess should be considered so and CL heads the list. ANY drainings from any abcess should be handled with gloves, contained, and disposed of properly. Want to infect your entire herd ? Let the animal with the abcess mingle with...
I have never run out of dog food but when I am hunting I pack some extra Peanut butter sandwiches for the dogs...Lots of carbs and they love them...May not be the most healthy meal but they Love Them...I am not a vet or a vet tech...just saying...

Yep, it's possible - because Welsummers were used in the creation of Barnevelders.
God Bless,
....I would have to agree...And would add that if you haven't hatch at least 100 of your own eggs to insure that they, in fact, hatch true, to the standard, then you really have No Idea of...
I used to use english pointers. I loved them but they are a little too hot for me. They only wanted to hunt and forgot they were Dogs. For the last 10 years or so I have used ONLY german shorthaired pointers. I couldn't be happier, they are upland dogs, water dogs, and House dogs....
casey...
I have 10 acres of Reed canary grass that I round bale several times a year. If you cut it when it is young it makes good hay, even my horses eat it durring the winter. But if it gets older and taller it starts to get stalky(?) and then it is about worthless because even the goats see it only...

Really? I will have to reread that thread... What exactly is Reed hay? Is it actually Reed's Canary grass or is it hay that is cut and baled Reeds from a swamp or ditch bank? Now that would make a Giant difference....small world we live in
I am looking for some black east indies ducks. Eggs, hatchlings, or adult pairs. Prefer show quality as I will be adding them to my stock, which are used for show purposes. PM me so I get the notification as soon as you post...thanks
I carry Blue Lotion with when I am hunting with my dogs. I have German Shorthaired Pointers, they have floppy ears that can get snagged . The blue lotion SomeWhat stops the bleeding, I guess like chemical cauterizing(?)...The cut will still bleed, just not as much. When I get them home I then...
again...possibly an OEBG X possibly a leghorn X...with the whitish tint on the rooster's ear lobe he isn't purely OEBG either. The rooster carries himself like a typical dutch or leghorn bantam, not so much like an OEGB...Where did you get the pair? Unless they came from a reputable breeder...
If they don't have slate legs they aren't dutch bantams...If you manage to get them entered as Dutch they would surely be DQ'ed by the judge because They Are Not Dutch Bantams, by definition. They look like nice birds, just look to me like a dutch X, possibly OEGB x dutch...
Possibly dutch X something but not purely Dutch... dutch bantams should have slate colored legs. Now that would by according to APA standard, beyond that I don't know.
very nice birds...the roo, even thought he is still young, is starting to show that greenish sheen on his breast, nice begining of a comb, as well. She may wait to start laying until spring...I will be waiting.
Once you buy a bird and introduce it to another to produce offspring; The line belongs to you. The breeder that you bought the birds from has no control over how you pair your birds for mating purposes. In the same regards, advertising offspring from your birds as "birds from some well known...
My opinion...If a horse is healthy and has hay available to eat, as long as he is kept dry, doesn't need to be blanketed. Wet weather is a whole different story.
"Young Rider's Guide To Buying a Horse or Pony" by Leslie Ward. Full color paperback. 87 pages copyright 1996
This is a very nice book, that I bought for my daughter some years ago, for a youngster that wants a horse. It is a paperback with a least 1 picture on every page, all full color...
