Okay! That's reassuring to know! I have 8 ducks, she is the only rouen, and quite easily my favourite as she is very affectionate :) Thank you everyone for your help! -

I will try and either record a video or find a video of a duck making the same sound. I read somewhere that it could be a mould infection in her lungs, but their pond is cleaned daily and their cages are kept clean also. -

We're not sure if she is laying as she is kept with two other females overnight, but it looks like she is. Could this affect her quack? -

Hi there, My female Rouen Duck has been making a high pitched quack for the past couple of days, and I am unsure as to why. At first I thought she had hiccups, but she has continued to make this noise every day. Does anyone know why she is doing this and what we can do to help her?
