For a few days now I've seen a rat in the coop and run at night time. This morning I found the rat dead by the entrance with a hole in its chest. Is it possible one of my 14 hens killed it? I'm just glad its gone now and my hens are all OK.
Most of the combs are pink and all of the feathers are rounded not pointy. I'll take better pics in a second and post. The last 5 I got all turned out to be cockerels. So I'm praying for some pullets. Not buying baby chicks from hardware stores any more. :(
