She's out now with my help. It was dried to her. There is one more piece of egg shell on her mid back and I don't want to pull it off. Hoping to leave her in the moist Bator. Will it fall off eventually?
I have had a successful first hatch. So far 16 of 22 but one has been chipping out since last night. She made progress but the part where the shell fell off is dry. I moistened a qtip and rubbed it on there quick. She is breathing and responds to my voice. But the membrane seems dried to her...
I don't know if the hygrometer was calibrated? I assumed it was when I opened the box. Maybe I should get another. I did add another thermometer so that part is accurate.
I am hatching my 1st batch and today is day one. The temps are good but humidity is at 70 so I removed the water at around hour 2. But the humidity isn't going down. The humidity where I live is normal. What should I do?
