    Crumble layer feed. He is in a flock of 25 and none of the others are showing this. I will try soaking and possibly tweezers. Thank you.

    That is what I am talking about. The layers you mentioned do not rub off and appear weird to me. I took this photograph about two hours ago.

    Possibly. He is the main rooster in his pen. What do you think about the dryness around the scab? His neck does look like it's been pecked.

    This is the first time I have seen this in my flock. My roosters beak is dry and has this scab on it. None of the others in his flock have it. It does not appear to bother him. He has minimal dry skin and feather loss on his neck, too. Any ideas what it could be and how should I treat it? Thanks!
