    Thanks! I bought 2 3 week olds from a local person and I ended up with 2 roosters from her. Then I bought 2 more from someone else and it’s 2 more roosters. I switched one out with my friend so now I have 3 females. I am having really bad luck

    Thank you! I didn’t notice any shiny feathers when I posted before so I wasn’t sure if that was something else to learn about. I didn’t know if hens also had that or if that could kind of confirm for me that they’re males

    Darn 😥 I know the brown/rust on the wings could be an indicator but it also has that color on neck/head/and chest so I was really trying to talk myself out of it 😂

    I don’t have pictures of the shiny feathers - I can definitely get some tomorrow. They’re hard to see because it looks likes they’re just starting to come through. But these are the ones in question 🤔 (im pretty much 99.9% sure #1 is a roo but #4 is a BYM and my absolute favorite one 😥)

    That’s what I thought! Someone else told me possibly Dominique due to the comb. Is it due to the brown coloring on the wings for #4? There’s also feathers on the legs
