Their site does state "free rare/exotic chick", so anything listed as an exotic breed counts too. I loved the extra chick I got, which turned into a cuckoo maran pullet! I would have loved a roo, but am happy with her :)

Welsummer is definitely female. The "eyeliner" on males are much less distinct, as is the triangle shape on the head. With as clearly defined as that chick's are, you have a female
Your chickens are lovely! I am not scared of roosters. Quite the opposite, I think they are great for flocks! I am hoping to get a better look upon closer inspection, and solve the mystery! I have 1 cuckoo maran pullet, and 3 baby chicks. So we shall see!!
Welsummer females have very well defined "eyeliner" and a well defined triangle on the top of their heads. Males have blurry eyeliner, and the triangle on their heads are also not well defined
