    We only lost one chick to the damp and wet condition. Fortunately the remaining 5 are active and eating today. Thanks for your help and encouragement last night.

    Thanks. I know it's foolish of me to worry so much. Mama is doing a great job, but the chicks are only 24-36 hours old. They were drenched when we found them and looked pathetic. Hopefully, we will find them all alive and fluffy in the morning.

    HELP! Rain soaked our "brooder box" containing mama and 6 day old chicks. We moved them to dry bedding and placed them inside a very warm shed for the night. Is there anything else we can do? The chicks were very active and healthy prior to the rain...
