    Here is the Breeders page from the Ameraucana Breeders Club FAQ page. http://www.ameraucana.org/DnLd/BreedersDirectory.pdf You are correct - these are a rare breed, hatcheries sell Easter Eggers, and kids don't believe that a chicken can lay a blue egg!

To play the devil's advocate, I can see where he was trying to go with this - clear tub to see the hatch, dowel rods on the outside to turn the eggs without opening the 'bator, bulbs and rheostat (sp?) to control...
