    But with the messes inside there enclosure there isn't too much you can do. Even if you go to a different method besides the mini pools than they will still make a watery mess. Ducks are very well known for being messy

    Ducks are extremely messy. Putting them in your living room will cause it to smell at some points and they will cause messes. I put my chickens, ducks, and guineas in the garage when they are babys inside there brooder. Is there anywhere else you could put them?

    Switching Feed Types

    Same thing was happening to my birds when I switched them. Like these other replies are saying, dont give them a choice. They'll notice that its food quickly. Mind learned in like 3 days which was longer than I hoped.

    Its probable a pullet. But I would keep an eye on it. Our friends who also have chickens have a bird who looked just like this at this age. There bird turned out to be a rooster.

    The ducks and chickens won't be sharing a coop. The ducks have there own separate house. Also sorry for not being clear on this but the ducks are only staying in the fenced in area by the chickens run.
