    I have a plastic net over the whole yard so hawks can't get my young chickens. I have a couple of Crevecours and I don't think they are able to see well, so I am considering a crest-cut. I have never done it before and I am nervous about doing it.

    Wow, I had some black Minorcas from Tommy Stanley. They were beautiful, big with nice combs. My male, Charlemagne, won Champion Mediterranean at the Sussex show some years ago. I wish I still had them. Good black Minorcas are difficult to find.
