    That’s true! Any idea on how to treat it if it is? She is the only bantam in he flock i believe so that might be what happened.

    I really don’t think a Rhode Island Red because it look nothing like them but I also thought a buff Orpington as well but look at the black markings on its wings; is that normal??

    I ordered a batch of Black Australorps from Meyer Hatchery and I received a Meyer meal maker (free chicken) and I’m not sure what breed it is. I received the chicks yesterday so they are about four days old but I just really want to know what the mystery chick is!!

    I recently posted a picture of her egg that has been covered in blood and since that post she hasn’t laid any eggs except when today I go to collect eggs and I see blood everywhere and I knew it was her but I didn’t expect it to be this bad. What can I do?

    I have a hen that recently realized that she can scalp the feathers out of the crest on my three polish hens and if you move away the feathers on the polish’s head you han see bald spots and blood. The polish cannot see and I have tried a pony tail on the polish but they just get picked on more...

    The the chick does not seem to be bothered and is acting fine and eating any drinking great. There has not been any mosquitoes and the rest of the chickens are thriving.
