I only have a black rooster. I'll attach pics of the adults. After I read you information, I would now say, I have one black hen and 2 blue hens. The chicks are 2 weeks old now. The two light colored ones wings are looking white. Is that an indicator that they will be white or is it still...
I have and black silkie roo and blue and black hens. What color are these chick? Blue? Splash? I also got a partridge chick, which surprises me, since I don't have any partridge. Can a black roo and blue hen have a splash chick?
I've got 4 seramas. One I know is a pullet. But I am unsure on these three. Can a Serama expert help.
Are both of the black ones roos? One has a bright red comb and wattles and the other does not.
And the white one? The buff one is a pullet, right?
Hoping for 3 pullets and one roo...
He is fairly light. So, does the male offspring have 1 or 2 copies of the barring gene? Will he be just like the father and only have one? He does appear to be darker.
I have this pair of cuckoos. I hatched out three eggs. I thought all three would be cuckoo. Only the male is a cuckoo. The two females are totally different. One's a blue and the other is a partridge.
Is the cuckoo roo the problem?

Paint is different than a splash. Splash is blues and Paint, I believe is white with black "Paint" spots. It's my understanding that Paints are not recognized yet. But they are working on it.
Hi,
I don't know if you got your question answered somewhere or not...as it's been awhile... but I would say no on the sizzle to sizzle...since they both have the frizzled gene. You could end up with a frazzle.
Smooth sizzle to a frizzled sizzle, I don't know the answer. I have both...and I'm...
