I will have to start considering some other breeds then! This pullet hunting expedition is proving quite challenging actually. Lots of 1 day old chicks available locally (of multiple different breeds), but none 5+ weeks old which is what I am after! Seems ridiculous to have a pullet shortage...- Ripponlea

I let the seller know that I wasnt willing to take the risk and buy it, just in case. But since he was planning on retaining it anyway if I didnt buy it, he said he would let me know in a few weeks if it turns out to be a pullet So I guess I will get some pictures in a few more weeks and see...- Ripponlea
