What age to let chickens out to forage ?
I opened the gate about two weeks ago. Very scary day for me, and when i went back twenty minutes later, the coop and the run were both empty. They were no where to be found... till i walked to the other side of the house, and there they all were. I dont evenclose the gate anymore at night ...- riverguide101

How long should I wait to put eggs under a hen?
I just started leaving eggs in the nest and actually added about 5 golf balls , my chick sat on them and laid a few more eggs but then stopped sitting on them and was sleeping on the roost. do i pull the eggs now? how do i get them to start sitting on them, i was going to try to leave eggs in...- riverguide101
