    Ah, that's fair. So the stones would also need to be buried and/or covered by something to be effective.

    I thought about doing it that way, but I think I'll be better off putting real overhangs on. They're big 24"x24"x2" stones. Guess I'll give them a try, I can't see why it would be any different then a mesh skirt

    Definitely doing both. I tried to make due with what I had but this time I'm going to do it the way I should have. I really like that overhang. How far out does it go? And how far down do your braces go on the building?
