    Must have supplies for clean coop

    i use pine shavings inside the coop and compressed straw in the nest boxes, and when that gets dirty it goes outside into the run then when it's starting to get yucky it goes into the compost bin. i have DE but have not used it yet.i clean the coop about every 3 weeks. can't stand the stanky...

    Help!! Back of chickens head pecked off!!! (caution: gory images)

    i had a hen deglived completely i cleaned the would really well and stitched it up with some colored thread. i was hoping she would be fine because i couldn't see a trip to the vet. i'm a looser that way but she recovered and you couldn't even tell it was there she was much more flighty after it...
