    My Duck does not know how to quack

    I bought a baby chicken and felt sorry for her because she was lonely so I bought a duckling. The 2 are about 9 weeks old and the duck now speaks chicken-doesn't quack.What is up with that?

    How old to lay eggs

    New to the chick/duck raising. How old do the chickens have to be too lay eggs and will the one duck lay eggs too? Do you also need to clip wings to keep from flying?

    How long on chick starter?

    feed store doesn not have "start and grow" Where can I purchase? What else can I feed them to make them lay eggs-they are 7weeks now-1 chicken. 1 duck. Looking forward for help-City Girl
