    Also (and I'll stop here)... when I installed the feeder, I moved the watering plumbing to the rear so that the nipples come in from the back of the coop. This gives more room for the birds and allows the feeder to fit too. The feeder bucket is in front of the 5 gallon bucket outside of the coop.

    Well, I can't explain it. I was getting multiple eggs per day with no artificial light except for a thermostat controlled red heat lamp. Now I'm down to 0-1 per day. My latest batch is going to hard boil tonight. Notice the odd-ball white one???

    Well, my earlier concerns were certainly due to immaturity. I've been getting a steady increase in production, and today I found this! Yup-8 quail and 9 eggs. Someone's an overachiever today!
