just bought the layer feed today actually.. they were on starter/grower..planned on mixing it... and i figured out who did the shelless egg its my newest layer... this was supposed to be her 5th egg- rockmissjess

HELP PLEASE!! So this morning we woke up to let the hens out and i grabed the poo-poo tray to spray it off and there was a broken egg on it with no shell....its really weird.. why would this happen?? of my 6 hens only two have begun to lay.. the other 4 have not yet.. it was really weird...- rockmissjess

OMG! OMG!! I went to go clean out the chicken poop from the coop today cause i was lazy this weekend and didnt do it.. and OMG OMG!! look what i found!! they have begun to lay!!!! AUG 4, 2014 I cleaned out the chicken coop today thoroughly and put some bedding down in the nest box :)- rockmissjess

August 1, 2014 Well as some of you know already we ended up with two boys... the silver laced wyandotte (Lucy now luke) and the blue wyandotte (louise now louis)....we have rehomed both roo's so we now only have the 6 hens left....took some pics of them for you all since i havent updated in...- rockmissjess

one of the hens turned out to be male... not too bad.. 1/6 from chickensforbackyards.com ended up a roo.. i think thats pretty good odds... here was the male... he left us today to go to another home- rockmissjess
