    sometime during the heat wave here in central indiana our two ri reds stopped laying and their little red head things are laying down,we have lots of feathers but thats it.the guy at the feed store everyone is hes talked to is having a great year for eggs,he said to keep feeding the laying...

    we only have two hens,and i dont know as much as i should.if i let our eggs hatch do we have to seperate them from the rooster and hens.we just have a fenced in area about 10 by 10 and the coop.i do have a pretty big cage setup thats divided into 3 compartments would that be of any help?

    we have two roadisland reds and a black rooster. we got three eggs early last fall and thats all,but i dont know how old any of them are.where would we get young ones if we need to?

    FREEMONT IS A BLACK ROOSTER,AND OF COURSE CROWS ALLLL THE TIME.THE NEIGHBORS HAVENT SAID ANYTHING BUT IM GETTIN SOME BAD VIBES.ARE THERE BREEDS THAT DONT CROW QUITE AS MUCH.ONE LADY SAID IM NOT FEEDING HIM ENOUGH BUT THEN HE STARTS CROWING RIGHT AFTER I FEED HIM.
