    They could very well be fake Ayam Cemani eggs. In person they are more pinkish than brown.

    I ordered about 120 eggs including quail. I expect about a 75% failure rate as the eggs are being shipped from California, Texas, Alabama, Ohio, Maryland, and New York and will be in cold trucks. Plus this is the first time hatching from eggs. I will also have to cull the flock of the roosters.

    I also picked up more eggs. This is incubator #2. The eggs are a mix of Shilohs, Ameraucanas, and Easter Eggers.

    I'm on day 11 and lost 4. The original eggs are on the left. I purchased 14 Ayam Cemani eggs from the same breeder and they are on the right. I think some of the original eggs are Ayam Cemani eggs.

    I thought about that unit but went with a Little Giant. It appears that most of the cheap incubators need some adjustment. The reason I went with Little Giant is the case is made of Styrofoam.     Oh, They also tend to mix the birds up when they are clearanced. I accidently purchased Speckled Sussex when I thought I was purchasing wyandottes. It was a good accident as I've found SS are super friendly.

    If you are looking for a good deal then shop when "Chick Days" are over and Tractor Supply wants to eliminate the display.
