I recorded a short video of my seramas fighting. They are in a temporary enclosure with some silkies. I plan on separating the silkies and seramas. I need to know if I need to separate the seramas from each other or is this normal and they'll eventually work things out. So far there has not been...
Some more Ayam Cemani eggs arrived today. They are from a different breeder. The eggs are marked with a black marker. The 2nd picture is off the breeder's website.
I ordered about 120 eggs including quail. I expect about a 75% failure rate as the eggs are being shipped from California, Texas, Alabama, Ohio, Maryland, and New York and will be in cold trucks. Plus this is the first time hatching from eggs. I will also have to cull the flock of the roosters.
I'll post the results either way. I ordered Ayam Cemani eggs from another breeder and I will pick them up tomorrow. Which line did your birds come from?

It is true on both parts. I had purchased over 60 birds from multiple TSCs. What I learned from this is selection may not be the best. I like friendly pullets which I can sit with, pet, and feed. Out of the 60+ birds, only 12 fit that criteria.
It was a good learning experience. I found out I...
