my two sebastopal geese went broody and sat together producing a really nice clutch of goslings! the gander is buff pomeranian!
we have had swine that have sold for 35,000 and cattle can go for about the same at our county fair, some show bulls throw steers that can sell for well OVER 50,000 dollars just need a good cow and a name(money, pretty much)
the first is my pom pair. the second is my embden CD AKA christmas dinner( although she was a beloved pet. she was a tornado victim, the only one suviving she was a blessing while she lasted)
it really doesn't make a difference of how trained the calf is. they WILL kick and man it hurts. i think i would be iffy on getting a calf for a classroom of that young age. heck, iv'e been kicked bey a lamb smack in the middle of my face and had to get my eye stitched. trust me a cow hurts WAY...
Hows everyone's cattle doing? i'm still on the search for a shorthorn calving ease bull that appeals to me for my yearling heifer. ill update everyone with her weight on saturday or sunday.
the days in my neck of the woods are about 11 hours long. and our weather pretty much is spring. our temps have been in the 50s and sunny... i guess time is key:/
