    First Egg Countdown

My silver laced started laying 7 days ago and one of my two leghorns started laying Thursday. My two new black sexlinks are still being bullied but one of them started laying yesterday. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

Let the bird cool before plucking?

I heard that it is better to let the killed meat bird cool down before it is dipped into the boiling water? Any truth to this? Also heard to let the bird completely cool down before stuffing it into the freezer. Any truth to that? Thank you Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

Girls don't sleep in there house

Mine did this after something scared them in the coop. For 3 nights I would pick them up in the evening and physically put them on the roost. The fourth night they.were back in the coop. Coincidentally(?) I also cleaned the.coop that day ;-) Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

Please help me identify. The black Americauna is crowing like a rooster. The ginger colored Americauna is not crowing at all yet I can't seem to think that they both look physically similar. Is the ginger Americauna a rooster too? Thank You...
