    is a duct tape saddle going to stop the hes from breaking the quills on my roosters back and tail

    for awhile he started getting worse, the hens figured it out and I put a red lamp and a heated bowl so they wont go long without water and he looks better now still continue to put on the blue kote.

    its also november in Maine too! ; ) i really have not heard much about brown leghorns being the best of layers and I only like the rooster so i would pick up some sex links. sex links crank out more eggs than you can count i give them 5 out of 5 stars and they are really freindly

    ha, if a wiesel is determined it WILL find a way into your coop. electric fence will make the odds of losing chickens MUCH lower but remember this no matter how much security you have unless they live in your house an animal will get in to the coop you may not get predators but even vegetarians...
