    Will a hen eat a worm directly from her rear? I feel sick as I post this. I try so hard to take care of my hens. I saw her turn her head and pluck something from her butt and eat it. It was about 2.5 inches slick and white. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t have a photo. Thank you.

    Hi…I need some diagnostic help. I’ve noticed these dark places on my BO roosters and a couple of my pullets. Are they pox, frostbite or pecking? They act fine, eating, drinking, etc. Thanks in advance.

    Weird eye growth on 6 week old pullet

    Update on my pullet. I took her to the vet, he said it was a stye and he was able to gently push on it and it popped out like a squeezing a pimple. Sorry, if that sounds gross! She took all the handling like a champ. Very sweet girl. Thank you guys!

    Thank you for your reply. I haven’t touched it, but it looks hard, and it has grown in size. I feel so sorry for her because it keeps her from closing her eye all the way. She seems fine in every way, eating, running around, etc. Did the one on your cockerel go away on its own?
