    Scary?? Chicken eating leaves of tomato plant

    I had a perfectly healthy hen in the morning and dead by dinner. I had dumped a pile of freshly pulled Tomatoleaves on the compost pile. I suspect from the bright green droppings that is what did her in?? Sad and mad....

    Update. ... Had Fecal Float test done at Vet. Results were essentially inconclusive, but it di show a FEW Non Pathogenic Grain Mite Ova. From quick read it appears these pass in stool without incident. Now I am at a loss. Her appatite is weak but her comb is now VERY DEEP RED. CAN ANYONE...

    I put Pinless Peepers on her last night and now she wont leave the coop. I observed her eating, but not drinking. My worry is she may not be able to see to drink from water nipples??? Looking for the voice of experience. .... Thank you!:D
