Hand warmers and a blanket will be my best bet since I'd have to kick it caveman style and try to build a fire when everything is wet in order to heat some water or a brick (we don't have a grill).

I have Snowflake quail chicks that are just hatching. One has already died and we brushed it off as it getting too cold because the power went out and he got disoriented, kept flipping over and died while I was trying to figure out a brace kind of thing that helps reorentate wobbly chicks.

I appreciate this so much. I'm of the mind that I'd much rather just TRY and help them if I can with the 50/50 chance of them making it or not rather than leaving them in their shells and *know* that they're doomed that way.
