This makes me very sad. We got a pullet surprise and we can't keep him because we live in the city. He is wonderful, protective and sweet. I want him to have a home as a pet chicken and not dinner. We are in the Baltimore area.

Ah ok that helps...we got them at the same time and the comb and wattle are much larger and red than the others. Also he is always bossing everyone around.

Second chick....moves so fast I can barely get a pic!

I'm feeling like one of our pullets may actually be a cockerel....any guesses on these two gold laced wyandotte chicks, 6weeks old. First one I think pullet Second one I am leaning toward cockerel
