    Anything wrong with their faces?

I'm in TX and there's some mosquitos out, but not a ton like in previous years. Do these pictures look like fowl pox to you? To me, they look a little different, but I haven't seen it before so may not know all the signs.

    Anything wrong with their faces?

I have two polishes in my flock. Noticed one of my silkies pecked lightly at the buff one's face and so took a peek at her & the black/white one. Wondering if something's wrong? Buff one seemed to be bleeding just slightly after getting pecked (at top of beak). Also seems to have bumps near eye...

Do you agree on the blue being a cockerel?

    Polish sex

We picked up two polishes from the feed store (who said they were both pullets). I think they're a couple months old now. The gray/blue one has a darker wattle, flatter comb, and is a little more skittish than the black & white one. They're about the same size. What sex do you think the...

    Sick bird (trigger warning: images)

Thanks again! She got the new vitamins today and took them fine. Gave her water and scrambled eggs with sunflower seeds and shell. Her eyes are still closed but look normal when pulled open. Got some crusties off with the compress. No mites or lice.

    Sick bird (trigger warning: images)

Thank you so much! The feed store had me convinced of the poultry cell because of the selenium, but sounds like BYC all suggests the specific vitamins so I'll do that. Will check those things tomorrow when it's light again. Thanks again.

    Sick bird (trigger warning: images)

Both eyes look about the same. She's been keeping them closed so haven't been able to see anything. Haven't noticed anything strange inside her mouth, but can take a look tomorrow when she gets her vitamins. I haven't noticed any lice or mites but haven't ever dealt with them, so not entirely...

    Sick bird (trigger warning: images)

Thank you! I was wondering if it might be wry neck but didn't see any pictures with them tilted up like her. She is on all flock crumbles and we temporarily put electrolytes in their water. Any tips on forcing her to take the vitamins you listed?

    Sick bird (trigger warning: images)

I have a sick bird and I don't know what's wrong. She's at least 4 years old. She recently was broody and then when I was out of town, the sitter noticed that she was not doing well. Came home and she seems on the brink of death. Have since quarantined her, but the other chickens were trying to...

    Texas

Hey everyone! Any recommendations on where to find silkie pullets around Austin? Can only find young chicks, but am in city limits so that won't be an option.
