    I had the first hatch this morning from the lost hens eggs that was refrigerated for a week. Horay!!!!!!!!!

    Cold weather treat suggestions....

    You could try some peanut butter treats or chopped peanuts they are high in protein or wild bird treats with peanut butter in it. Also give them leftover scrambled eggs and the egg shells.

    Thanks! I will try this most of mine only a day or two old and the hen has not started setting yet and she was killed last night by a predator also. I think I will try them any way I lost seven hens last night :(

    How cold can eggs get for how long before incubating? I am new to hatching eggs. Please help!
