Have you any experience with Jubilee Orpingtons? I have 4 that are 6 weeks old.
One of these is obviously jubilee colored. The others are mostly solid color and one has like a blue undertone?? I don't know anything about raising them as chicks, only adore the adult coloring. Is this typical?
OH OKAY!! I can definitely tell that's a roo!! Thank you so much! I was kind of hoping one was a roo. :( Everyone keeps telling me that there isn't a way to keep a rooster nice, is that true?
Everyone is still acting well and eating and drinking. Day two of corid water. Seen one bloody poo this morning in the run. Maybe that will be the last! Thanks everyone for your help!
Whew glad I seem that before I hit the hay. Me and my absolutely wonderful husband just went out and syringe fed corid and put in water. We shall see what the night brings.
Sorry, it was dark when I found this one. There are a couple of droppings around the run like this. The one from this morning was all blood, no poo. They are all roosted for the night so I'm going to put out corid water first thing in the morning. Next question... I was looking at the chicken...
I have corid, should I wait to treat until I see more blood? So far just the one is all I have seen. If it were an infection would that bird pass blood every time?

I know there are tons of threads about this, but I am in freak out mode and just thought this might be faster. I just went out to the coop and found on the droppings board one poo splatter that is straight blood. Just one. Don't see any in the run. But I am freaking out. Should I treat all 6...
